4.1 Cancellation before and after confirmation

A Client may cancel without charge before Consultant acceptance or payment capture unless stated otherwise. After confirmation, unless a listing is more favourable: cancellation over 48 hours before a session may receive a full service-price refund less lawful non-refundable third-party fees; 24–48 hours may receive 50%; under 24 hours, no-show or lateness over 15 minutes may be non-refundable. Different rules for projects, urgent bookings or custom deliverables must be displayed before purchase.

4.2 Consultant cancellation or failure

If the Consultant cancels without agreed rescheduling, fails to attend, materially fails to deliver or misrepresents qualifications, the Client may receive a full or partial refund. Repeated failure may result in suspension and cost recovery.

4.3 Completed services

No refund is due merely because the Client dislikes properly delivered advice, does not achieve a desired outcome or changes its mind. Refunds may be considered where the service materially differed from scope, was not delivered, was unlawful or involved verified misconduct.

4.4 Request and review process

Requests must be submitted through the Platform or to support@consulty.io within 7 days after the scheduled session or delivery, unless mandatory law provides longer, with the booking reference, issue and evidence. Consulty may review messages, meeting and attendance logs, files, scope and milestones and issue a full or partial refund, credit, reschedule, rejection or other reasonable remedy.

4.5 Chargebacks

Clients should first use Consulty’s dispute process. A chargeback does not remove contractual obligations. Consultants must assist with evidence, and Consulty may recover the disputed amount, provider fees and reasonable administration costs where caused by Consultant breach, fraud, non-delivery or misleading information.

4.6 Method and timing

Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method. Bank and card-network timing is outside Consulty’s control. Platform credits, where offered, are non-transferable and subject to the displayed validity period.
